Quantified Carbon helps companies and other clients navigate the complexities of the low-carbon transition. At the heart of this mission is our Industrial Decarbonization department, which works with the sectors that are hardest to decarbonize—helping clients to move from planning to implementation with confidence.
The industrial decarbonization team supports clients in understanding the scale and timing of the transformation required, identifying project opportunities, and developing forward-looking strategies. The team also assists in implementing these strategies: assess which mitigation levers—such as electrification, hydrogen, carbon capture and storage (CCS), and fuel switching—make the most sense from a technical and economic perspective. They also help prepare projects for investment by guiding clients through project definition at early-stage development.
The department is led by Sebastian and includes Davi, Oscar, and Michal. Each brings deep, complementary expertise in areas like hydrogen systems, geological storage, batteries, biofuels, and district heating. Together, the team takes a multidisciplinary, systems-based approach to industrial transformation.
By translating complex technical and economic realities into actionable solutions, the Industrial Decarbonization team plays a key role in realizing Quantified Carbon’s mission: delivering scalable, high-impact climate solutions where they are needed most.
