Working on Svenskt Näringsliv’s long-term project Kraftsamling Elförsörjning to identify the most economically viable fossil-free power system for Sweden by 2050. For a period of three years, we were engaged in Svenskt Näringsliv’s long-term project Kraftsamling elförsörjning.
Our main task revolved around investment optimization across multiple scenarios, with the aim to identify the most economically viable fossil-free power system for Sweden by 2050. This significant endeavour resulted in six comprehensive reports, amassing over 500 pages of data, insights and recommendations. Our mission for credible electricity-market modelling led us to push computational boundaries in investment optimization modelling.
Additionally, we utilized our proprietary tools to validate the system, model industry flexibility, manage electricity trade with Sweden's neighbouring countries, and carry out detailed spatial planning for potential Variable Renewable Energy (VRE) power sites.
